On the first day that you bring your child you will be welcomed by your keyworker, and you will be asked to stay with your child for about an hour, so that the introduction to our environment is a gentle one.
We will have some forms for you to fill in while your child plays and familiarise themselves with the new surroundings and faces.
Throughout the settling period, your child’s dedicated keyworker will discuss with you how your child is settling in our nursery. They will discuss with you a start time and duration of the visit that best suits your child. There is no set formula or time span for this as all children react differently to separating from their parents or carers.
